SUMMARY:The Queen Elizabeth II Cup and Reception
DESCRIPTION:At the invitation of His Majesty The King\, the Queen Elizabeth II Cup will be shot for in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday 13th September 2026.  Uniquely\, the competition will be shot for in Field Uniform in recognition of our 350th Anniversary.   The competition is open to any Archer who has displayed shooting competence to the satisfaction of the Match Secretary and Match Secretary (South) – it is not limited to Archers who live in the South. \nThe Shoot will be followed by a Drinks Reception.  Further details on that Reception will be promulgated in due course once the arrangements have been made with the Royal Household.  There will be a cost for the Reception and it is expected that if you shoot\, you will attend that Reception.  You are welcome to include your spouse or partner to witness the shooting and tea will be laid on during the afternoon curtesy of the Match Secretary (South). \nMeanwhile\, please indicate below if you wish to shoot (please indicate in the comments box if you will be accompanied).  A further event will be set up in due course to allow you to purchase a ticket(s) for the reception.

SUMMARY:RCA 350th Anniversary Ball
DESCRIPTION:On 14 November the Royal Company will hold a Ball at the Assembly Rooms\, Edinburgh.  The last such Ball was held in 1956 to mark our 300th anniversary.  A link inviting you to purchase tickets is below. \nThe format for the evening will be a champagne reception\, dinner followed by dancing to the Robert Black Dance Band.  The Ball is only open to Archers and their spouses or partners. \nDress code is White Tie.  Gentlemen in Royal Company Mess Kit or white tie\, Ladies\, long dresses. To preserve the uniqueness of this Royal Company evening\, highland dress is not permitted.  Detailed timings and other instructions will be issued in due course\, but in outline the timings will be 7pm until 1am. \nTables will be for 10 people.  You may purchase up to two tickets at £195 per ticket.  When purchasing your tickets\, you will be invited to indicate with whom you would like to form a table\, if anyone specific. Should you be happy to sit anywhere\, then please do say so.
